Coach Dwayne Walker

Dwayne Walker serves as the Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Southeast Christian College. A respected leader with a proven track record of building successful basketball programs, Coach Walker brings more than a decade of high school coaching experience to SECC.

Prior to joining Southeast Christian College, Coach Walker spent five years as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Liberty Christian Prep in Tavares, Florida, where he guided the program to a CFACC Runner-Up finish during the 2019–2020 season and earned his 150th varsity coaching victory. Before his tenure at Liberty Christian Prep, he spent five years at Adventure Christian Academy in Tavares, leading the varsity boys program to multiple conference runner-up finishes and tournament championships. His 2016–2017 team advanced to the Final Four of the Florida Christian Conference, further establishing his reputation for developing competitive, disciplined teams.

Coach Walker joined Southeast Christian College for the 2024–2025 academic year, launching the institution’s inaugural men’s basketball program. Despite the challenges of building a program from the ground up, the team completed its first season with a 4–21 record while laying a strong foundation for future success. Following a full year of recruiting and program development, the team improved dramatically in 2025–2026, finishing with an impressive 17–9 record and demonstrating the rapid progress of the program under Coach Walker’s leadership.
